Esports Analysis and Writing

In the summer of 2017 I worked for the Esports news website Dexerto. I published articles previewing and recapping Call of Duty events from an statistical standpoint. I analyzed statistics to give readers an approximation of a team's chances of winning in a certain matchup. I also created new statistics and wrote articles ranking teams and players by these numbers. I pitched a fantasy league to the Dexerto editors and convinced them to let me create an official Dexerto fantasy league. I coordinated drafts for over 40 readers. I was invited to attend the 2017 Call of Duty World Championship in Orlando. I assisted Dexerto with on-site content and wrote multiple articles breaking down the event. I am grateful to those at Dexerto for an incredible learning experience.
