After overhearing two women complain about San Francisco, the movie’s protagonist, Jimmie Fails, interrupts them. He asks how long they’ve lived in San Francisco. Only about a year. “You don’t get to hate San Francisco, you don’t get to hate it unless you love it,” said Fails.
